Hello Gail,
This is my very first check-in. I've been at it only about three weeks,
mostly getting oriented and trying to understand the CoffeeCup ftp
program. As far as substantive work, I've only added a few veteran
burials and corrected a birth date. My goal for the month of August will
be to make our site a bit more navigable with menus up front in the home
page.

Las Animas is alive and well, and stick kicking anything that gets in its
way! :-)
My hubby rode through Colorado last week on his way home from Idaho. His
retirement trip was a motorcycle ride from Georgia up and down to visit his
siblings in Idaho, and then to come across the southwest into Texas,
Oklahoma, Missouri, Tennessee and back home.
He waved hello to all of you there in that beautiful state. But I really
got jealous when he drove through Las Animas. I can't believe he got there
before me! Someday, I'm just going to take a week and ride my CanAm out
there and just take pictures of the area. I want to see where my
Grandfather and Grandmother lived...the towns of Delagua and Primero aren't
there any more, but my second uncle was baptized in Trinidad.
Everyone have a great August! Hope its not tooo hot or dusty for ya. (We
have major road flooding here this morning...parts of our county recieved
over 6.5 inches of rain in the past 24. Good day to be an inside worker!)
