Beginning March 2nd, 2020 the Mailing Lists functionality on RootsWeb will be discontinued. Users will no longer be able to send outgoing emails or accept incoming emails. Additionally, administration tools will no longer be available to list administrators and mailing lists will be put into an archival state.
Administrators may save the emails in their list prior to March 2nd. After that, mailing list archives will remain available and searchable on RootsWeb
My intentions are still good, but other priorities keep pulling me away. FYI, my wife and I have decided to move back to Virginia to be closer to our grandchildren. We have put our house up for sale, but it may take a while to sell up here in the remote mountains, but, then again, it may sell tomorrow - NOT! In any case, I will be looking locally to see if anyone is interested in taking over responsibility for the site.
If anyone else out there might be interested in the Hinsdale County site, let me or our state coordinator know.
