Beginning March 2nd, 2020 the Mailing Lists functionality on RootsWeb will be discontinued. Users will no longer be able to send outgoing emails or accept incoming emails. Additionally, administration tools will no longer be available to list administrators and mailing lists will be put into an archival state.
Administrators may save the emails in their list prior to March 2nd. After that, mailing list archives will remain available and searchable on RootsWeb
Thank you so much for the welcome Charlie! It's good to be here.

Welcome to Colorado Katy.

We lost Ray Blaum in Hinsdale Co. due to a move to a new location so
Hinsdale Co. is up for adoption. As of this time, he hasn't found
anyone to take over the site.
Since we have so many counties for rent or for sale right now, I am
working on updating counties and will look like I have a lot of
counties issued to my name. I would rather have the counties with a
name rather than up for adoption so go ahead and complain that I will
have more then four counties.
Katy Hestand is our new member to COGenWeb and will host Fremont Co.
so Pauli will you please add Katy to the CC list. Her email addess is
etwenthome(a)gmail.com
Please welcome Katy to Colorado.
Katy, we have a check in the first of each month, that is just to let
me know that everyone is still here. If you have some information to
share as to what you have added to the site etc. you can share that at
the time of check-in. I might be able to help you with adding
information to Fremont Co. next summer when I am in Colorado.
Also, know that I have the Colorado Cemeteries site that hasn't been
used much lately.
I will be doing a check on check-ins for the past three months in the
next couple of days.
Welcome Katy and thank you for taking on a county.
Gail
