Beginning March 2nd, 2020 the Mailing Lists functionality on RootsWeb will be discontinued. Users will no longer be able to send outgoing emails or accept incoming emails. Additionally, administration tools will no longer be available to list administrators and mailing lists will be put into an archival state.
Administrators may save the emails in their list prior to March 2nd. After that, mailing list archives will remain available and searchable on RootsWeb
Jefferson County is here and has a bunch of paperwork in front of it! A lot of new info coming up in the coming months! Hope everyone's New Year was safe and fun!

Thought I had a person with Kit Carson ancestors who could take it over (not trying to get out of work, but she would have more interest - and I could take on poor orphaned Logan County). But she wrote that she had a disability affecting her capacity to do it, so she demurred.
Added some school lists to Kit Carson and Washington from the ColoradoHistoricNewspapers.org
Yuma was more interesting.
