Beginning March 2nd, 2020 the Mailing Lists functionality on RootsWeb will be discontinued. Users will no longer be able to send outgoing emails or accept incoming emails. Additionally, administration tools will no longer be available to list administrators and mailing lists will be put into an archival state.
Administrators may save the emails in their list prior to March 2nd. After that, mailing list archives will remain available and searchable on RootsWeb
Sorry to be so late. Adams County here. We are in the process of getting
our house ready to sell and it is driving me crazy. Again, sorry to be so
late. Time just slipped by.
Will be gone the first week of September (to find a new home) so this is my
September check in as well.
Take care,
Carolyn

Different interpretations galore, but I think one has to have 50%+ of the
vote to win outright.
If less then 50% of the vote, the two top vote getters have to run off. I
believe the NW has thirteen states, so 6 there, being less than 50%, would
have forced a runoff. I thought SW had more than ten states, but I could be
wrong..........couldn't I.
It is personally disturbing when all of the SC's don't vote. To me it is a
sign of disrespect of the project........and a horrible example to their
CC's
But that is IMHO of course. And good luck with that. I couldn't vote so
couldn't help you.
Thank you Sundee

Not sure how many states it covers. I would have to count. Tho I was
positive that when I ran two years ago. Jason lost to me by two
votes, and they called it a run off then. I would have to go look at
the election then to see.

Wow, thanks Karen and Sundee....sorry for your loss Sundee. Sad when all
the SC's & ASC's can't vote.
Been up to Boom Days [Leadville] all day and am exhausted. Even got on a
horse and rode with my new knee. That was a first for the knee and it did
just fine.
Raining again.........
