Beginning March 2nd, 2020 the Mailing Lists functionality on RootsWeb will be discontinued. Users will no longer be able to send outgoing emails or accept incoming emails. Additionally, administration tools will no longer be available to list administrators and mailing lists will be put into an archival state.
Administrators may save the emails in their list prior to March 2nd. After that, mailing list archives will remain available and searchable on RootsWeb
So I was doing some searching again on the little ghost town off I-25
past Trinidad. The one where I have the picture of the church.
And here is what I found. Thought I would share :)
What you were looking at was the ruins of a town called Morley and
the St Aloysius Catholic Church. It is on private land but a public
road gets you close. Last time I was there I got permission to enter
from the developer. It was a coal mining town that was in operation
into the 1950's. The town was built as a mining town and occupants
all had identical houses, company stores, and company scripts for
groceries and the like.
So now I know the name of the church that I have the picture of.

I is here Sundee... along with Lake, Pitkin and Chaffee Counties.
Having a web site of the month is a good idea and since you are getting so
good at designing logos you can design one so the CC can put it on their web
page. '-))) I need to get back to checking web sites again. Maybe I will
catch up when I get back up to Colorado.
Lee, the article on your web site was great but just didn't get to the site
to take a look at it. Sorry..to many irons in the fire to stay on top of
all my emails..trying to catch up today.

Hi Lee:
Sometimes people get feedback, and sometimes you don't. But on the whole,
people have had some good responses later on. Remember, the newsletter is a
volunteer newsletter, i.e. goes to those who subscribe who are coordinators or
members of the project. It actually went out to over 2,000 subscribers this
month. And we sometimes receive no feedback on the newsletter itself, or,
like this month, we have received numerous emails about how great they thought
the newsletter is. One person wrote and asked if they could post links on
their mail list so that other researchers could know about the newsletter and
go look at it. I told her she absolutely could and that it wouldn't be
online at the National site for sometimes a week or two, depending on the schedule
of our National webmaster(s).
You know, it might be a great thing for everyone to post a link on their
sites so more people would learn about the NL. It has some things designed just
for our CCs, etc., and many things are now moving toward helping anyone with
their research.
Just my thoughts, as the Editor. I've been attempting to have the NL be
more of a NL that makes a difference for everyone, and that is the direction it
seems to be heading, instead of just NEWS about the project as a whole.

Thanks for the encouragement, but this is a different
Dr. and I have no choice they fused the curve of the
lumbar flat, also have a fused l-4-5 floating around,
and I'm on 40mgs of oxycodone a day and it helps. I
don't need this with my RA as well.
We did get through lambing out 45 ewes with few losses
lets hope the grass holds out. My husband is new at
the sheep business since he only retired three years
ago, and he's doing my work.
