Beginning March 2nd, 2020 the Mailing Lists functionality on RootsWeb will be discontinued. Users will no longer be able to send outgoing emails or accept incoming emails. Additionally, administration tools will no longer be available to list administrators and mailing lists will be put into an archival state.
Administrators may save the emails in their list prior to March 2nd. After that, mailing list archives will remain available and searchable on RootsWeb
Has anyone heard of what has happened to StoopidSoftware? I can't find them
anywhere on the internet. They are the makers of my HTML program, Gomer. I
need to contact them. Has this company been taken over by another, or
changed their name?

This is a little off-topic, but I am hoping I can request y'all's assistance
(those of you who live in state, anyway).
One of the reasons my counties are up for adoption is that I'm now the
outreach coordinator for AngelFlight West (www.angelflight.org), Colorado
Wing. AngelFlight is an organization of volunteer pilots who provide
transportation for needy patients, their family members, medical materials,
etc. In order to get the word out I'm trying to compile a list of all the
hospitals, medical centers, community clinics, etc., around the state so
that we can send them information about AngelFlight.
If you have time, please consult your local telephone directories and send
me (don(a)stanwyck.com) the name, address, telephone number, and if you know
it, the social worker's or clinic manager's name for any facilities that are
near you. I already have the ones in the Denver Metropolitan Area.
Thanks, and if you are interested in knowing more, please consult our
website or let me know. I'd be happy to mail you some literature on
AngelFlight.

You're welcome, Gail. The real Baca County may be flat, but you make up for
it with that background. ;o) -- Leona

Hi. Everyone!
You are all such hard workers and, as I say every month, you make it hard to
choose a County of the Month. Even our newest CCs are doing such a great
job! But we have to choose only one county so . . .
This month the County of the Month Award is going to Gail Brown and the far
southeast corner of the state--Bacca County. Congratulations, Gail!
Leona & Sundee
Thank you, Gail

Warm welcome for Betty and Mike, and welcome back to De.
Mike, I am a native of Kit Carson, born in Burlington. My Mother used to own
the little "Tea Cup" restaurant and my DAd owned the service station next to
it. I still have some relatives living there, but we moved away when I was
four.
CONGRATULATIONS Sundee!!!
