Beginning March 2nd, 2020 the Mailing Lists functionality on RootsWeb will be discontinued. Users will no longer be able to send outgoing emails or accept incoming emails. Additionally, administration tools will no longer be available to list administrators and mailing lists will be put into an archival state.
Administrators may save the emails in their list prior to March 2nd. After that, mailing list archives will remain available and searchable on RootsWeb
Problem is there is not any on the GenConnect Boards. I started the project
in effort to try to get more volunteers to transcribe Deeds for Colorado.
I know you are not trying to knock my efforts.:)
I am only trying to help get more of these in since I have never seen any
done for our State.

That is a great article Greg! Thank you for sending it to the list. I will
add it to the COGen pages.

receive the award. The only people who knew were Mary Ann and the CC.
Well,
the cat is out of the bag and the award has been added to the County of the
Month award site <http://www.rootsweb.com/~cogenweb/ccinfo/cositeaw.htm>.
The August 2000 County of the Month is Pauli Driver Smith's Weld County

You certainly deserve the award.

OOps, August was a bad month for me and I do apologize for missing the
announcement of her award. She has a very outstanding site, and works hard
for her visitors.

It has some commercial interest too, but the data is in a nice format.

As some of you may already know, Leona and I are working on sweeping the
counties. If we have not got to your county we should with in the next week.
I am setting up a page that will show our monthly stats. I will announce when
I get all of the stats online and will update this for the CC's to view each
month.
I would like to thank all of the CC's who have checked in this month. I need
to hear from all of you, even if you have not kept stats for the month of
Nov. It is important that I know that you are still out there, so I know that
your county is being taken care of.

Answered 15 e-mails for information, forwarded one to the Weld County

I had one person inquire about adopting a city. Forwarded information.
Weld County has been slow this fall, but I have taken advantage of this by
updating links, adding new links, and cleaning up areas of the site.

Hi everyone - Feliz Navidad!
I'm hanging my head with shame after the November sweeps. Pitkin Co did not
pass muster and I promise to have it spiffed up by New Years Day. My primary
place to put blame is on my Brant County Ontario GenWeb site. I have an
unbelievable number of volunteers there and they have been drowning me in
transcribed county histories, photos and censuses for me to post!
<glug..glug..glug..> Also - and you might be interested in this - a
wonderful volunteer, Jim Davenport, sent me a huge amount of cem
transcriptions for all the Woodmen of the World graves in Colorado! I have
posted those, county by county on my Ghostseekers site at
http://members.aol.com/vikkigray on the "Search the Indexes" page. Most
counties are represented. Anyway....
Here are the stats:
Delta Co 263 hits
Gunnison Co 203 hits
Pitkin Co 215 hits
San Miguel Co 174 hits
by the way - I've decided we should just have Congress appoint a Prime
Minister and then we don't have to worry about the Florida vote.
Vikki
Hello Villi,
What a wonderful site you have!! I have browsed through it this morning, and
although some of the links were not working, I was able to see quite a bit.
Thanks for the tour,
Gail
