Thank you...I have documented my Coffman lineage back to David & Mary Ann, but am now trying to fill in the blanks.
Frankly, Rootsweb's World Connect is about as credible as WFT, since it is not validated, nor are many references cited. Of all thirty-two which came up on a search for Nancy Walker married to Jacob Coffman, only two had actual references cited, whereas the rest cited some other Family tree posted on WC, or had no references at all.
Family History books and County History books are not acceptable as proof by lineal societies(SAR, DAR, 1812, Mayflower, Order of Cincinnati, etc.) because they also allow anyone to submit whatever they want...just because Auntie Sue said it was so...
While WFT and WC along with IGI Trees may give you info to start, you have to validate everything, else it is not acceptable.

Cathie:
How does Ham Walker relate to Nancy Walker (b1779VA) who married Jacob Maryon Coffman, son of David & Mary Ann (Lovell) Coffman??
Nancy & Jacob were married in 1799 at the home of James Walker in Jefferson Co, TN before migrating to Limestone Co, TN, then finally to Cherokee Co, TN after the War of 1812-14, where both died after the 1860 Census?
Don't think Nancy is James' daughter, because she does not appear among heirs in his Will probated in 1801. She could be his sister except that if so, she was named 'Nancy Owl' in his father's Will probated 1794 in Goochland Co VA. Was she a widow, divorced, or annulled when she came to TN???
Nancy and Jacob are my ggg-grandparents.

Longmont Ledger (Longmont, Boulder County)
Dec 1, 1905
COFFMAN-OSBORNE--At the residence of the bride's parents at Pleasant View, at high noon, Wednesday, November 29, 1905, Lawrence Coffman and Miss Blanche Osborn,. Rev. Arthur W. Coffman W. Coffman, father of the groom, officiating.
There were about thirty relatives and other guests present. A sumptious dinner was served and the presents were numerous and beautiful.
Find-a-grave 53481381
The owner of this memorial will not add info unless the request comes from a family member...it would nice if this marriage cert was added, have him tied to his wife Blanche 53481415 and tied to his father Arthur 53530423. The death date on Arthur's memorial needs to corrected...1888 to 1935 (per the headstone)
