Hi,
My ggrandmother was (Mary Ann L.Coffman). I beleive she may have been married twice and Coffman was her first husbands name. She was known as Blackfoot. I believe she was Cherokee and maybe not Blackfoot. She lived in Loudon and had married George William Oody. I noticed that one of your relitives was a William Black Coffman and am interested in knowing where the name Black came from. I beleive that Mary Ann may have had a name of Black or Blackfoot.
Good Luck!
