WRECK ON THE FRISCO
Five Persons Killed and a Number Seriously Injured. (only four of the dead were listed)
Kansas City: As a result of a broken rail train No. 103 of the Frisco System was derailed bear Everton, Missouri, and five persons were killed and a number of others seriously injured. The engine, baggage and mail cars went into the ditch and were badly damaged. The dead are E. R. Mead, engineer, Fort Scott, Kansas; Bert Coffman, fireman, Fort Scott, Kansas; C. B. Campbell, postal clerk and L. C. Colman, mail clerk, both of Kansas City. Clyde Wilkins, postal clerk and Louis Columbia were seriously injured and the recovery of both is doubtful. Engineer Mead was on of the oldest men in the Frisco services.
