I was at the office when I responded to your query regarding Anna Coffman. My Anna Coffman married Fleming Bard in 1842 in Polk Co.
Good luck in your hunt.

Hi, thanks for replying. I don't think my Anna, born about 1820 not 1810, belongs to the David and Susan Coffman family. I found that Anna, dau of David and Susan, married in Polk Co MO on a census with her family and husband-who was not Jeremiah Wyrick. My Anna and Jeremiah never left Grainger Co. Their part of Grainger became Union Co. My Anna may have had a brother. I say this because a Frederick Coffman married one of Jeremiah's sisters and I wonder if he is a brother to Anna.
I do appreciate your help. I hope someone will someday help me make a connection.

I apologize for not replying to this wonderful post. I've had to take a hiatus from research. Hope to get back to it soon. I think it is fascinating to find someone who was named for Margaret (Triplett). Now if I can ever figure out who HER parents were and who were Abraham's!

Naomi,
I saw your response to Ken Coffman (my brother) on Rootsweb regarding Otis Coffman and Minnie Coffman. I actually know Otis's children. I haven't seen then in years, but I know Otis had a brother Vernon that married Betty's sister Luella (living). Luella and Vernon had one daughter. Are you related to these Coffmans?. Is Minnie, Otis and Vernon's sister? My father was Otis and Vernon's cousin, Leroy Coffman. Do you have any information on the Coffman line prior to Otis and Vernon? I belive their father was Melvin but not sure. I know their grandfather was Ira R Coffman, m Mary E Compton in Mason County Michigan and ggrandfather was John Lafayette Coffman m Eleanor Wilcox in Lake County Indiana in 1849. I have a little additional information regarding Ira's sisters but that is about it. If you have additional information regarding this line I would greatly appreciate it.
Thanks,
Tim
