Dear Coffman list,
We have been able to connect Mary A. Caufman/Coffman to our list. Mary
was born in 1860 in Missouri and lived/married/ and Died in Polk County,
altho wasn't born there, but in a county near by. we'll be glad to supply
the family links before she was born and need her data after birth. She
married Nelson Neil in 1880 in Aldrich Mo., Polk County. We hope we can
compare our data together with someone who had her in their files, to help
save search time. Contact Zella Coffman at <carl_coffman(a)hotmail.com> Bye
and thank you for your attention. I remain, Zella. P.S. This genealogy
event has taken over 55 years to trace, thru efforts of other family
genealogy and ourselves, to perfect, and with pride and pleasure we are
posting this notice!!

Zella,
It has been awhile since we have received new information on this list. I
for one, have been too busy working on another branch but will be back doing
Coffman's now.
I have Coffmans in Missouri too. Will check out mine and see what I find.
Congratulations, each time we make a find it is wonderful but especially
after 55 Years!

Hello list from a new subscriber. Looking for information on Daniel and Eleanora KAUFFMAN of Martic Township, Lancster County, PA. They had a daughter LAVINIA , b. May 31, 1800 in Welsh Mountains, who married William NORTHAMER possibly in Chester County, in 1821/22/23. Daniel may have died around 1844 as that is when William and wife pay taxes on Daniel's land. Lavinia Kauffman Northamer died May31, 1862.
I have seen both CAUFFMAN and KAUFFMAN used as spellings in family records.
Looking forward to any contact on this family. I have much on the descendants of Lavinia and would love to share/compare with cousins.
Noreen Alexander Manzella, greatX5 granddaughter of Daniel and Eleanora Kauffman
