Now the Bradley County Heritage TN. 1836-1998
The Seaborn Family settled in the White Oak Valley east of Hamilton
County. This was still Indian territory until 1836.
Sheloma Jane Seaborn Married Hugh White Coffman
This Family moved to Arkansas.
Her parents were James Monroe Seaborn and Sarah Emaline Wright Who died
in 1870. They were both buried in the Seaborn Cementary.
The cementary was owned by my mother and Father-in-law when I got married in
1961.
James Walter & Orphi Bell (Bill) (Cartwright) Blackburn.
The white oak Valley is very close to where I was born and raised. I have
a lot of relation in that area.
My Coffmans name's were Shell, Homer, JC, Sonny, Fat, Carl, Mary,Thelma,
Sister and James. Now you have to know that most of these are nicknames. But
their was one of mom's older sisters and mom was next to the youngest. So
some of these children were older than my mom.
Maybe this can be a little help. Seems so small when I look at what I have
on my family tree. I'm sure this is not all of the children. Most of them
lived in Hamilton County and the northern parts of GA.
Bye, Loretta
