COFFMAN -HOFFMAN MARRIAGE
Seeking information, date, etc. of the marriage of
Samuel Coffman (Kauffman) and Ann (Anna) Hoffman, daughter of Frederick and
Christianna Hoffman. Marriage was prior to 1798 and occurred in Lancaster
County, Pennsylvania. Although there is a slight possibility that it may have
taken place in Shenandoah County, Virginia.
Joe Baker
Hello list, I really hoping someone has a lead to where John H.B.
Coffman got off to and where he died and did he have a 2nd. marriage? And
any children of Andrew David and Elizabeth S. Sanders may of has, they were
married 1849 in polk co. We decedent from 2nd. marriage in Texas and I found
3rd. and 4th. and a girl friend, and where they say he died. Andrew had a
way of changing the sp. of his name. I wonder if John did also? I ordered
census for all Coffmans in Texas for the correct time and that didn't work.
So I'm going to chase John's kids for a while as Follows:
John married Mary Huff in 1846, Polk Co. and after 1859 Mary Huff
Coffman married Alexander Blair Jr. and would like to know names of the
Blair children that was born to them. John Coffman and Mary Huff had the
following Children and I need to contact descendants of them:
Mary S.,b.1848,
Nancy, b.1850,
David and Delphia, b.1855
James Coffman, b.1859
This James, Could he be the James Lee Coffman that someone in Polk
Co. is looking For????
As ever, I'll be very grateful for any help, as it's really hard
when you are a shut in. Thank ever one very much. Zella Coffman

Can anyone provide any information about this Durloch Coffman?
Go to http://www.ancestry.com/search/rectype/inddbs/4674.htm

Seeking information on Samuel COFFMAN/KAUFFMAN of Lancaster County, PA, and
Shenandoah County, VA.
Samuel COFFMAN/KAUFFMAN and Christian HERR were appointed executors of the
estate of Frederick HOFFMAN in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, in 1785.
Samuel moved from Lancaster County to Shenandoah County, Virginia, around
1789. He and Christian HERR (a miller by occupation, who remained in
Lancaster County) owned property (211 Acres) on Hawksbill Creek in Shenandoah
County (located in present-day Page County, Virginia). Samuel's wife's name
was Anne.
I shall appreciate any additional information you may have on Samuel
COFFMAN/KAUFFMAN. Was he akin to either the HOFFMANS or the HERRS?
