Ok, I need some help as I am trying to get this Coffman file back on the
computer and straight!!! There are some sites that have different info
on some of the Coffman Children, etc. I am trying to get sources for what is
out there!!! and get my records corrected..
I am not trying to step on anyones toes, but we all make mistakes, and
sometimes we find different names, because "family" calls them that... and
so aren't really mistakes, but extra info that is nice! SO Here is what is
needing some help.
My line comes in through Jacob Free Coffman who is a son of Lovell S.
Coffman born 1775. I am going to put what I have as Lovells children.
(it is different than what The Watchers has...) By the way who is this????
I sent an email to ask them and it came back as no good...
Lovell Coffman 1775 Fauquier VA. married to Sarah Greene.
ch
1. Jacob Free march 10 1805 this is from family bible
4-17 1858 Independence Co Ark. mar 3-17-1826 (history of ARK gives Feb as
birth month)
2. Elka G. Coffman (Female)
3. Melinda abt 1810 marr Robert TURNER
4. Sally abt 1813 marr Robert HARWELL in AL.
5. Elizabeth abt 1815 marr Carles PEARSON in AL.

What do you all have and what sources Please...
With the Watchers. they have

#3 Savory Ann 1808 marr to M.O. HILL ???
My Sally is their Sarah
Then they have 2 more children
Marshall who marries Mary Abernathy
Robert J. 1828 marries Martha Jane TAYLOR
Do any of you have this NOT COPIED from "the watchers" and know where
the sources are...
When I get this fixed, I will go to David Harmond!!!
I know Sue Coffman Brown has some Articles under the Watchers and another
researcher I have gotten info from too, but not at all sure who had the
above info...
Thanking all of you for your time.. Valu(a)pdq.net

Hi,
I am looking for info on John Coffman that married Johannah Brill 1760
in Frederick, Maryland.
They had a son George that was born Oct.23, 1762 in Frederick, Maryland.
George married Magdelina Hochwaerter. Some members of both these
families ended up in Cove District of now Barber Co. Va., WV.
If you have any info on this family I would love to hear from you,
Thanks,
Joan
Patricia,
Thank you so very much for the web sites. I had my Coffmans to my
great-grandfather and now I have found to his great-grandfather and my
great-grandmother plus as well. I could not believe it. Fantastic
find! I
have been receiving these e-mails for over a year and not found a thing
that I
could see that was my Coffmans. Success with a royal "S".
Thank you so very much,
Charlsey

Good morning! Looking for info on JOSEPH COFFMAN b1828 m. ELLANORA H. JONES b. 1837. I have cemetery records from Shenandoah Co. Need info on parents of Joseph and Ellanora. They had 6 children that I am aware of: twins CHARLES AND a female born Rockingham Co., LAFAYETTE (may have been a Dr.), JOSEPH, APHARETTA and DANIEL. Some info I have found on Charles states his father as Joseph and mother as Catherine. Need info on siblings. Any help would be appreciated. Lois
Sorry if this is a repeat, but thought you might find this site useful.
