Beginning March 2nd, 2020 the Mailing Lists functionality on RootsWeb will be discontinued. Users will no longer be able to send outgoing emails or accept incoming emails. Additionally, administration tools will no longer be available to list administrators and mailing lists will be put into an archival state.
Administrators may save the emails in their list prior to March 2nd. After that, mailing list archives will remain available and searchable on RootsWeb

OBITUARY
Roger E. Coffield, age 64, Bowerston, died December 7, 2003 in his residence.
He was born January 20, 1939 in Toledo, a son of the late Ivan and Virginia Hartzell Coffield.
He proudly served for 20 years as a veteran of the United States Marine Corps, retiring in June, 1977 as a Gunnery Sergeant. He served overseas during the Viet Nam Conflict. He was a master mechanic for eight years at the former Scio Pottery and retired from the Carrollton Post Office after four years as a postal clerk.
He was a member of the Scio American Legion Post and a member of the Bowerston American Legion. He attended the former Plum Run United Methodist Church.
Surviving are his wife, Becky S. Booth Coffield ;
seven daughters : Mrs. Tim ( Patty ) Beach of Pensacola, Fla. , Mrs. Darryl ( Donna ) Galliher of Rockhart, Ga. , Mrs.Roger ( Becky ) Zimmerman of Jewett , Mrs. Floyd ( Janette ) Mercer Jr. of Cadiz , Cindy Coffield of Frederick, Maryland , Mrs. Larry ( Brenda ) Stottsberry of Wamego, Kansas and Mrs. Dale ( Tracy ) Thurman of Cartersville, Ga. ;
two step-sons, Jim ( Becky ) Manbeck of Bowerston and Adam ( Stacy ) Furguson of Uhrichsville ;
sister, Mrs. Mark ( Diane ) Stevenson of Canton and
Aunt Wilma Polosky of Forsythe, Ga. ; 20 grandchildren ; four great-grandchildren.
Service was conducted December 11, 2003 in the Bazter-Gardner Funeral Home, Sherrodsville with the Rev. Charles McNatt and the Rev. John Wood officiating.
Interment in Tunnell Hill Cemetery, Bowerston where the DAV, the VFW and the American Legion will conduct military graveside services.
The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Carroll County Hospice.
