Tim:
Thanks for the COFFEY site. I am searching for information on my
grandmother, COFFEY, Ellen, b. Oct.1863, Ireland. Parents are COFFEY, Martin &
WELSH/WALSH, Bridget. I do not know where they lived in Ireland.
Ellen came to NYC sometime in the 1880s, married BACON, Simon Peter in NYC.
In 1871 they moved to Harrison, NJ, then onto Newark, NJ. Bridget's brother,
COFFEY, James came to USA, between 1880 & 1900. He returned to Ireland in
the same timeframe.
Any information on my COFFEY family would be greatly appreciated.
