Beginning March 2nd, 2020 the Mailing Lists functionality on RootsWeb will be discontinued. Users will no longer be able to send outgoing emails or accept incoming emails. Additionally, administration tools will no longer be available to list administrators and mailing lists will be put into an archival state.
Administrators may save the emails in their list prior to March 2nd. After that, mailing list archives will remain available and searchable on RootsWeb
Hi,
It's been awhile since I've posted.
I'm doing this from memory because access to wh records I have left
are currently on a hard drive that I can't access. I lost all my hard copy
research to hurricane Katrina.
BUT my Coffey line comes to a screaching halt in Ringoes, NJ
Hunterdon Co. with Nathaniel Seldon Coffey pre-Civil War
His son Senaca Wiliamson Coffey was twice elected State Commder of
the GAR of West Virginia. A second term was a high honor.
Anyone doing research in that area or on that line please get back to me.
Anyone interested in genetic genealogy and finding ancestors by DNA
tests contact me off list.
Cal Boyd, FSA Scot
THANK YOU, Tim!!! Great site for searching various surnames. Very
helpful.

If you go to: http://archivegrid.org/web/jsp/index.jsp

is returned for items in university and other archives around the world.
Perhaps someone will find a clue to their own personal family history, if
not at least it is interesting.
