Subject: Jack Coffey late 1800's PA
Dear Listers and fellow Coffey Clan
Have posted this previous years so trying again in the hope someone out
there recognises the family tree.
Looking for John (Jack) Coffey
B abt 1851 Pennington Leigh Lancashire UK
Emigrated to U.S.A. some 20 odd years later?
No record in Ellis Island of our Jack
Settled in PA. perhaps Pittsburgh?
Family have a photo of a Dulce or Dulcie from Pittsburgh P.A. Date? perhaps
late 1800's early 1900's
Family legend has it that Jack regularly visited relatives in UK.His neice
Lucy Coffey told her son of an
'Uncle Jack' who missed the Titantic and got another boat just after.
Jack (John) parents were James and Margaret Coffey (Nee Callanan)
Siblings were James/Peter/Andrew/Thomas/William
If anyone out there in Coffey Clan land has anything that may resemble the
above would love to hear from you
Many thanks
