Hello Everyone,
I am the new coordinator for KidzGenWeb at
_http://www.rootsweb.com/~usgwkidz/index.htm. _ (http://www.rootsweb.com/~usgwkidz/index.htm. ) This site has
been around for a while now, but has not been pushed very hard. I need your
help getting it out.
This site is for children and teens so that they are able to post surnames,
queries and class room genealogy projects so that other children/teens or
adults may be able to help them with their search.
Only children can post surnames and queries, however, adult researchers can
answer the queries or post helpful hints.
This link is being forwarded by fellow researchers like yourself to schools
and libraries as well. Please be so kind to post this link to your county
page(s) and/or list groups.
Thank you for your time and help.

My info on Fanny Carr indicates that she died circa 1833/34. I had the three children you mentioned listed as Campbells but have since changed the surname to Carr since you say the girls marriage license show that to be the surname. I am presuming that Edmund and Fanny never married. I have no info on George R. other than an approximate DOB of 1825. I show Mildred as being born abt. 1833 and Mary J. as 1834. I wonder if Fanny died giving birth to Mary J. or as a result of childbirth?

Deborah,
On to your other questions
# 13 Fanny Carr-Edmund S. Campbell. the first time I had seen to two names linked was in an earlier post from Lilly, I have no idea where she got this. In my files I do have a "Fanny" Carr mother of Mildred Carr who married Meredith G. Coffey 24 Mar 1854 Nelson co. The marriage record shows no father's name, just the mother Fanny Carr. The same information is on the marriage record of Mary Jackson "Polly" Carr when she married Washington McClund Campbell 1 Jan 1860 in Nelson Co. I had not given the father of these 2 girls any thought until Lilly had Edmund S. Campbell with Fanny Carr. When looking at his files, I found in the 1850 census he is with wife Elizabeth and in the household are 3 children, obviously to old to be children of Elizabeth, they are Mildred George R. and Mary J. That makes me think (wonder?) could these children be the children of Fanny Carr, perhaps she was dead by then and Edmund was raising the children. the census has their surname as Cam!
pbell, but the girls married with the surname Carr. I know nothing more about the boy.

Carol--
Your email stated:
# 19 Tish probably Leticia Coffey d/o George Washington and Rachel Campbell Coffey she married Edmund J. W. Campbell Jr and died before 1894
I'm more confused than ever now. When you state that she was the daughter of George Washington and Rachel Campbell Coffey, I presumed you were talking about the Rachel/Rhoda Campbell (d/o Joel and Nancy Coffey Campbell) b. 1821 who married G. W. Coffey (s/o William A. and Betsy Giles Coffey) b. 1814. However, when I looked up my info on Edmund J. W. Campbell, Jr. and his wife, I noted that the info I gleaned from the online marriage records for Nelson County stated that Letitia was the d/o George Washington Coffey and Mary Katherine Demastus, that she was born about 1868 and married Edmund J. W. in Nelson County on March 9, 1890.
G. W. and Rachel A. Campbell Coffey (s/o William A. and Betsy Giles Coffey) also had a daughter named Latitia, b. abt 1842. This daughter married Jesse Demastus, b. 1841 in Nelson County on Dec 25, 1862.
Please try to straighten me out. There are way too many Campbells and Coffeys out there with the same names. I feel like a snake all twisted up around myself!
