Thanks for the answers about Ananias Coffey and Jane Hindman. I know they
had several children and I believe that their son John married Martha Gray
and had several children and disappeared-family lore says he went south on
business and was never heard from again--they lived in Indiana. Martha and
the children stayed in Indiana. Later I heard that the John had married
someone else in Kentucky and had more children. I don't have a birth
certificate or marriage license either so haven't proven this yet. Any ideas
on this John?

Grace: I believe that Ananias and Jane had 10 children or so. From which one do you descend?

John Coffey (he married Elizabeth Strunk) was in a shoot out with Tinker Sellers and was shot to death in the late 1800's my guess is between 70 and 80.
Who is Tinker Sellers? John Coffey is the nephew of Mary Ann Coffey Sellars. Can any one help??
