Hello listers
reposting interests in Coffey Family. JAMES AND MARGARET COFFEY (nee
callanan).Margaret born Co Clare circa 1830's. James Co Cork !!! Emigrrated
to UK Lancashire late 1840's. Had five sons
ANDREW,JAMES,PETER,THOMAS,WILLIAM.
Thanks to this list, have found a long lost relative Thomas Kelly, who
provided a lot of hitherto unknown information.
But we are still stuck with when and where James and Margaret were born, and
parents names and siblings.
We know Margaret (nee CALLANAN) was born in Co Clare via 1881 Cenus 172
Shaving Lane Worsley Lancs.
For all those who did drop a line previously, thankyou and apology if I did
not reply.
There is a lead of sorts, that a Jack Coffey (John?) EMIGRATED to U.S.A
early 1900's !? There is a picture that Thomas has of a young girl taken in
Philadephia.
looks like late 1910-1923.
This list is wonderful, and I never realised there were so many COFFEY's.
James and Margarets son ANDREW COFFEY is my GGGrandfather.
Many thanks
