Beginning March 2nd, 2020 the Mailing Lists functionality on RootsWeb will be discontinued. Users will no longer be able to send outgoing emails or accept incoming emails. Additionally, administration tools will no longer be available to list administrators and mailing lists will be put into an archival state.
Administrators may save the emails in their list prior to March 2nd. After that, mailing list archives will remain available and searchable on RootsWeb

Why would you leave out the original spelling of OUR surname?
Look at the record from 1700's, Isle of Wight, VA. (Enter:Thomas COPHER, Son of )The ONLY reason the other 2 spellings came to be was for simplicity and less confusion, as most did not come to know phonetics. Copher/Coffer/Cofer, all the same. Original Heritage at or around 1750, Thomas Copher was a land appraiser for The UK / New colonies. Run The Geneology, there is SOOOO much more!
