Looking for this Philip Coffelt on the 1850 census. He was born July 24, 1804 and died January 27, 1872 where he is buried in the Latham Cemetery in Moniteau Co., Missouri. Phillip was son of James Henry Coffelt and Sarah WYATT. It appears that he was married three times --- 1) 15 Aug 1822 Eleanor JARVIS IN Knox, Kentucky 2) 13 Oct 1839 to Jane JOBE in Cole Co., Missouri 3) 26 Feb 1856 Matilda Montsharmon (BARGER) ESTES
My particuliar interest is in the Jane JOBE, who we believe may be the 'missing daughter' of James Jobe and Margaret STONE shown in the following census.
1840 -Cole Co, Mo - Jefferson Township
James JOBE 1 (M) 1780-1790 -b. 1787 VA
1 (F) 17901800 -Margaret Stone b. 1793 SC
1 (M) 1820-1825 -William b. 1822 MO
1 (F) 1825-1830 -Not on 1850 census (could this be Jane (Jobe) COFFELT?
1 (M) 1830-1835 -Misshessaleth b. 1827 MO
1 (M) 1830-1835 -Thomas J b. 1832 MO
1 (M) 1830-1835 -Abraham b. 1834 MO
1 (M) 1835-1840 -Reuben b. 1838 MO
1 (F) 1835-1840 -Margaret b. 1840 MO
Especially looking for 1850 census for Phillip Coffelt and to find out when/where Jane died and if she and Phillip Coffelt had any children. Thanks for any help.
