I noted your query regarding Mary M. Coffelt who married William Duckworth
in Missouri.
I published a national book on the Coffelt family in 1991 after some 35 plus
years of researching
Mary M. Coffelt (b. 1854) was the daughter of Daniel Coffelt and Rebecca
Delaney. She married William Duckworth December 28, 1873. This Daniel's
grandfather and my 4gr grandfather were one and the same.
The book traces the Coffelts back to Germany in the German State of
Rhineland Pfalz in the 1600s where they were wine makers. We were able to
visit in Germany and locate the area of their farmstead or manor. We also
found the original death record of the father of our immigrant Christopher
Coffelt.
If you are interested I will be happy to discuss the family further. If you
like I have cell phone minutes and if you will supply a telephone number
where you can be reached, we can cover more ground faster verbally than
with e-mail.
Bob
