Glad to hear from you. Yes Elmira Baldwin married Newton
Putnam in Vermont. The Baldwin's go back to Billerica, Ma.
and the Putnam's go back to Danver's and Salem. Mass. Then
they go back to England. Elmira and Newton came to Ind.
after Able Baldwin and Newton's father Ezra Putnam. There was
a measles epidemic in Montpelier in 1834 and several of the
people there died including 3 of Newton's family. Ezra Putnam and his second wife Hannah moved back to Cavendish and died there. Two of Newton's sons Charles and Edwin moved on to Kansas. Newton later followed them and died in Green, Ks.
Charles Putnam's son Edward Frederick was my grandfather and
later moved to Missouri. My mother was Ella Mae Putnam
Shull. I have more info on both families and will get my
files out. I have some information on Montpelier and also
we visited there and also Vt. and Ma. Marie

Hello,
Kyran Dolan was my G-G-Gr Grandfather. His oldest Daughter, Mary Dolan married my Gr-Gr grandfather, Chauncey Baldwin. I have heard many stories about her, as she made quite an impression on the family throughout her entire life. I don't have much about Kyran or his wife but would be happy to share what I have with you. Let me know, I would be very interested in learning more about the Dolan family.
Brian Baldwin,
Parker, Colorado

Marie,

Here is my Line
Isaac Baldwin b 1760 of Cavendish, Vt
Goldmith Baldwin b 1804 of Cavendish, Vt & Indiana
Abel Baldwin b 1840 Indiana
Chauncey Baldwin b 1870 Indiana
Earl Baldwin b 1898 Nebraska
Dean Baldwin b 1925 Oklahoma
Marv Baldwin b Colorado
Brian Baldwin b Colorado ( That's Me )
I think from an earlier post, your family is through Isaac's daughter Elmira who married Newton Putnam. Elmira and Newton moved to Indiana with my Goldsmith Baldwin following their Uncle Abel Baldwin who founded Montpelier, Indiana.
The previous reply asking about Kyran Dolan, is in reference to my Chauncey Baldwin's, father in law.
I would really like some more info if you have it on the family back in Indiana or Cavendish or even back further to Bilerica, Mass where Isaac's father Thomas Baldwin was a minuteman and responded to the Lexington alarm.
Anything you have would be great and I would be happy to share anything I have.
Brian Baldwin
