Quite a few years ago, while researching at the National Archives, I found two wonderful Civil War pension files.
Miles Coffee married Agatha. This file is smaller, but still has great information. Lived in Kentucky.
Jackson Coffee married Harriet Gilmore. Lived in Kentucky. His pension file has a wealth of information, when & wear married, etc. Including slave owners, family names, etc. Harriet's owner, provided the couple with a wedding supper. The file includes Harriet's death certificate at age 107 yrs, Harriet had 15 children, 6 living in 1910.
Anyone related to either of these couples?
