I'm looking for my great great grandparents. They were Luke and Caroline Melton. Her maiden name was Black. I believe they died here in Texas, but that's a guess. There son was Elbert Melton, Mack Melton, Lillie Melton was a daughter and Mattie. all in Texas. Any help would be appreciated.

I am looking for info on my maternal grandmother. I was told that she died when my mother was two years old, and giving birth to my aunt. Not sure we believe that, since there were signs of her afterwards. I believe she may have been banished for some inappropriateness. However, not sure. Her husband was William Mackey of San Hedwig. His parents were Dan Mackey of Illinois, and Jane Mackey of Mississipi I believe. It is a mystery. Not sure even of her ethnicity, but we have French, Creek Indian, Cherokee and Choctaw in the bloodline.

His wife was Hasty, looking for her too. Born in 1833-1912 in Tennesee. Died in California. Any help would be appreciated. Boney's Father was George Coffee, born in 1805.
