Hi,
You can start by going to rootsweb.com. There is info about getting started. Also, Ancestry.com has some trial memberships and that might be a good way to get started.
Coffee has several spellings depending on the family or their census takers way of spelling the name. It is Irish.
Good luck with your search!
Rose B

Nat Berry descends directly from Wm. C. Berry by way of his son Ephraim Moore Berry, to his son, Walter Scott Berry, then Nathaniel Moore Berry and Linwood Berry. We have put a copy of Wm.'s family history, copied by Walter Scott Berry, along with photos.
My husband and a Berry cousin, Rex Berry, were able to do the DNA project and found that they are in the Coffee line and not the Berry line. It matches with what Wm. wrote in his diary. We are in touch with many descendants, so please let us know who you are and we'll include you in our info circle!
Our website for the photos is moondancerfarm.com. Enjoy!

Tony
We are also researching the Coffee family of George and Rose but have hit a brickwall with the ancestors of George. Going by his death in in 1931 Condobolin NSW whose father was Joseph. Have you found their arrival in Adelaide yet?
Hope to hear from you
Janette
