I've "rescued" an old photograph of John ROBBINS and Noah COFFEE which was
taken at the Gleerup Studio in West Plains, Missouri. The photograph is
dated 21 Jan 1908 with the men in the photograph appearing to be in their
20's to 30's at the time the photograph was taken. In addition to their
names and the date, someone has written "Nell" on the back of the photograph
as if that might be the person to whom the photograph was given. Based on
limited research I was able to locate one possible match in census records
as follows:
1910 census of Goldsberry Township, MO:
John W. ROBBINS, age 35, married 6 years, born IN, parents born IN, a Farmer
Myrtle O. ROBBINS, wife, age 28, married 6 years, no children, born NY,
parents born IA
I am hoping to locate someone from one of their families so that this
wonderful old photograph can be returned to the care of family. If you are
a member of one of these families or you know someone who might be, please
contact me.
Thanks,
Shelley
