This will serve as an update to the email address used above, I can be reached via a "reply" post here or an email sent via Ancestry.com/
John Willis COFFEE's ancestry has now been traced to Ambrose COFFEY/COFFEE who settled in Kentucky after fighting with Daniel BOONE and others at Fort Boonesborough, in what is now Montgomery County, Kentucky.
I use the word "traced" loosely, because I've no primary evidence. Yet. Neither do I have photos, family bible, letters, any documents other than census records. Yet.
If you descend from the following COFFEEs, please contact me, or my distant cousins, Tom COFFEE and/or Christine CRATE (whose messages also appear on this board regarding this line).
John Willis COFFEE (1875-1968), son of
John Hanna COFFEE (1852-aft.1913), son of
Rolly (or Raleigh) COFFEE (1804-1873), son of
Ambrose COFFEE/Y (1755- abt. 1820), son of
William Coffee (b. 1729)
Thanks,
Sandy
