Beginning March 2nd, 2020 the Mailing Lists functionality on RootsWeb will be discontinued. Users will no longer be able to send outgoing emails or accept incoming emails. Additionally, administration tools will no longer be available to list administrators and mailing lists will be put into an archival state.
Administrators may save the emails in their list prior to March 2nd. After that, mailing list archives will remain available and searchable on RootsWeb

BUENA VISTA - Mabel Mae Everitt, 89, formerly of Love, passed away at 9:45 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 23, 2008, at Golden Living Center in Buena Vista, with her family by her side. Born May 11, 1918, in Augusta County, she was a daughter of the late Oliver Everett and Myrtle Coffey Wilhelm.
She was a homemaker and a member of Mountain Top Christian Church in Love.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 42 years, George Ray Everitt, on Oct. 5, 1980,and two sisters, Elva Brocato and Ruby Brubaker. Survivors include three daughters, Betty Sensabaugh and husband, William, of Stuarts Draft, Linda Pace and husband, Charles, of Crimora and Vivian Wilson and husband, Lewis, of Craigsville; a brother, Luther Wilhelm of New Hope; eight grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and one great-grandchild to be born.
A funeral service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 26, 2008, at Mountain Top Christian Church, with Pastors Paul Land and Billy Coffey officiating.
Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Active pallbearers will be Paul and Ronnie Everitt, Johnny Brocato, Jay James, Tony Schmidt and David Brubaker.
Honorary pallbearers will be friends attending the service.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. this evening, Jan. 25, 2008, at the Waynesboro Chapel of Reynolds Hamrick Funeral Homes.

The funeral was conducted Saturday, Jan. 26, at the Mountain Top Christian Church, by Pastors Paul Land and Billy Coffey. Burial followed in the church cemetery. Reynolds Hamrick Funeral Home in Waynesboro handled the arrangements.
Billy Coffey officiated both the church service and graveside service as Pastor Land got stuck on the Blue Ridge Parkway and couldn't get off in time.
