I am seeking information on the above -- they were receiving a Civil War Pension during 1860/70s. Charles enlisted in 136th New York Infantry in 1862 and was invalided out in 1863.
They have at least two children John Francis (Frank) and Catherine Eva (Eva) born Warsaw Township, Wyoming NY in 1852 and 1861 respectively. Both spent large portions of their lives In Sydney Australia, where Frank died in 1929. Eva died in California in September 1951.
Any information on relatives of any would be appreciated.

Does anyone have any information on the Coffee Family who would've been in Indian Territory during the very early 1900's? My g-mother, Essie Mae Coffee was born July 4, 1901 In IT, OK somewhere near present day Duncan I believe. She had a sister named Cora and a brother, no idea what his name was. Her parents were Charlie/ey/y & Martha Coffee. I'm told that origination was TN or KY.
Thanks for any help. Direct e-mail in case of reply is fine...

[Location is Highland County, Ohio]
BOTH CHURCHES NAMED IN MRS. BEESON'S WILL
Bulk of $30,000 Estate Goes to Her Sister, Nephews and Nieces
Requests (sic) of $1,000 each to the Methodist and Friends Churches of Leesburg, the money to be held in trust and proceeds used for the benefit of the churches, are made by Mrs. Elvira R. Beeson, of this village, whose will was filed in the probate court last week. She also makes bequests of $100 to the Leesburg Library; $100 to the Altruistic Society of Leesburg; $100 to the Ladies Aid Society of the M. E. Church of Leesburg; $50 each to the Home and Foreign Missionary Societies of the M. E. Church of Leesburg.
Her estate is estimated at $30,000 and aside from the public bequests named above is divided among her sister, Mrs. Harriet Bridwell, and a number of nephews and nieces.
The largest bequest is to Mrs. Bridwell of $5,000. The other bequests are as follows:
Mrs. Hattie V. McKay, $1,550; Sarah Thornburg, $2,000; Vista Bird, $2,000. Sallie B. Coffee, $2,000; Stella B. Slaughter, $2,000; Ernest Beeson, $2,000; Dr. Charles Beeson, $2,000; Martha Borum, $1,000; Columbia Slaughter, $1,000; Mrs. Belle Anderson, $2,000; Mrs. Grace Minick, $500; Terry Slaughter, $475; Marcus A. Slaughter, $475; Maud Murphy, $475.
To the trustees of the Leesburg Cemetery there is given $100 as a fund to keep her grave in order.
The residue of her estate is to be divided one-fourth to Mary B. Loud, a niece, and the remainder between Mrs. Harriet Bridwell, Bell Anderson and Hattie Loud in proportion to their bequests under the will.
Charles C. Redkey is named as executor and he is instructed to sell all of her real estate and convert it into cash as soon as possible. He is directed also to employ D. Q. Morrow as his attorney.
The will provides that if any legatee of the will attempts to break the will or otherwise endeavors to secure a different settlement than that provided under the will, shall forfeit his or her bequest.
The will was executed on November 10, 1912, and has two codicils, one executed September 25, 1918, and the other on September 27, 1919.

These 2 are my gg-grandparents, I am lookin for any info on this line I have traced it back to Ambrose Coffee in Ireland around 1755. I would really like to see some pics of my Coffee line, I have only seen 2 other Coffees (my dad and uncle) and am really interested in the line. William had a son name Charley who was born in KY in 1902, some have him posted as being born in 1904 THAT IS INCORRECT and his real birth givin name is Charley most have it spelled Charles or Charlie this is also incorrect. Charley married a Lulie Mann and they had several children together, Tommy, Harlin, James, Juanita, Jewel, Dorothy, and Richmond. Richmond past away when he was a baby. Harlin is my grandfather he had pasted before I wa born my father lost ties with the rest of the family after this. This family moved to Ohio from KY and there are buried in Columbus, Ohio. If anyone has any photos or info on this family that would be great!!!!!!!! I am extremely curious. I am also wondering that !
how true a curse in this line is. Harlin pasted away when my mother was pregnant with me, Charley pasted away in 1957 when my grandmother was pregnant with my uncle. My father tells me that it is "tradition" in our family that when the 2nd grandchild is conceived and soon to be born it is the death of the grandfather. I have one son, my father and uncle tell me if I was to have another child it would be the death of my father. I was the 2nd born, Harlin past away a few months before I was born. My uncle was the 2nd born, Charley past away a few short months before he was born. This "tradition" sounds extremely crazy to me and if anyone know anything about this that would also be a big help. SORRY SO MUCH READIN !!

Seeking any information on any of these people. Any descendants may have Milroy's Disease -- hereditary lymphodema.
All lived in Wyoming Cnty NY, Warsaw Township during the 1860's.
Charles was in the 136th NY Regiment during the Civil War.
Thanks in advance
Seems like I just replied with this same info to someone on this list:
The Coffee - Coffey Family, compiled by Margaret E. (Maslin) Lyman, et al (film available from Salt Lake City), mentions Charles. He enlisted in E Co., 136th NY Volunteers on 2 Sep., and honorably discharged on 27 May 1863; died 1870. Had one son, Frank, who in turn had a son named Frank. Frank and Frank Jr. are said to have moved to Sidney, Australia.
