Looking for information, especially the burial site, on John Coffee, who served in Co. F, 81st Pa. during the Civil War. He was born about 1819 and lived in Philadelphia. Researching the men of the 81st Pa. and compiling their burial locations. Would be very grateful for any help or information.

Hello Marilyn,
Thank you very much for your response, I'm not familiar with the individuals you listed. I have an aunt who is about 84 yrs. old, who lives in your city and the names do not ring a bell for her either. But I"ll look further into it. My grandfather (Wiley Coffee), according to her lived in Jacksonville, Fla. for awhile prior to his death. She stated that he died around the early to middle 1960's, at the "Duval Medical Ctr.", which is now known as the "Shands Hosp. I'm going to contact them and see where their medical records lead. Again, thank you very much and I'll get back to you soon.

I am a desendent of Peter Harrison Coffee ll who was married to Sarah Elizabeth Daniels. They had three daughters Ida, Ann Elizabeth, and May. They were all married to William Alexander Bussell (Not at the same time LOL). They lived in Rochelle, Georgia which is near Rhine I believe. If this sounds like it could help let me know.
