Karen: I have a brief amount of information on your Coffey line. John Coffey (1620-1717)>Edward Coffey (1670-1716)>John Coffey (1700-1777)>James Coffey (1729-1786)>Joel Coffey(1770-1826)>Nathan/Nathaniel Coffey(bet 1796-1804 & 1880-1890)>Ebin Cleveland Coffey (1828-1905)>and I have a daughter for Ebin and Elizabeth Farmer Coffey, Lousia Elizabeth Coffey (1849-1913). Louisa married George Boen.
I would appreciate any additional information you have to share on your Coffey lines. Many of the above spelled differently, Cofey, Coffie, etc, and altho I use Coffey it does refer to all variations of the spellings. I am also interested in a Martin Coffey. This Martin is said to be the son of Elijah Coffey but I believe he is actually the grandson based on Elijah's will. This Elijah (b 1819 or so) married Rebecca Unknown and is said to of had: Willa, Grove, Samuel, Lucy, Elijah, and Martin.
I will appreciate any help you have to offer and will share my information. Thanks!
