I am looking for information on WPM Coffee. He was born 1851 in Arkansas.
According to the 1880 census of Red River County, Texas, both of his parents
were born in Tennessee. He was married to a Mary_____ at this time with two
children, John T. age 4 and Minnie age 2 months, both children listed as
being born in Texas as was their mother. In 1884 WPM was marrying Mrs.Sarah
C. Welch. Evidently this family went back and forth from Oklahoma to Texas.
The family found in the 1910 federal census Bryan Co., Oklahoma lists as
the head of household , a son of WPM's, Frank Coffee, listed age 23 born
in TX . Also listed were Sivila ( Sarah C. ) age 45 born Tx,(mother) ,
and these siblings of Frank's: James , age 16 born in OK; Bell age 12 born in
Tx; Doc, age 9 born in Okla; Carrie Lee ( Pearl) age 7 born in Ok; and Ivy
age 5 born in Ok. What happened to WPM? Need more information on this
family and his first marriage and the children of that union. Do any of
these na!
mes ring a bell with anyone? Any help would be appreciated. Thank you ,
Vickie

I continue to search for any info on John E. Coffee, b. abt. 1852 in Rabun Co., GA., my ggrandfather. Son of Jesse Leonard Coffee who was a brother to the Rev. John Coffee, pastor of the Steccoa Baptist Church (later Clayton Baptist Church). Any info on John E. and Florida Coffee, marriage, burial, etc. would certainly be appreciated.
It is believed that Austin, or Austes Coffee, was a child of Edward and
Ann Powell Coffey, and married a Chenault; Annester had no known husband.
To add to the confusion, Austin/Austes could have been female. No one
knows what happened to him/her, and no research exists (that I am familar
with).

Thanx. I looked it up in the dictionary after I posted. Just think how
crowded our courts would be today if all went before the grand jurt and were
indicted. As far as I know, I do not have any bast born children in my lines.
Does not mean that they are not there, I just do not know about them. Betty.

The cousins are too numerous to mention. If you need more information - e
mail me back I will check with some of your first cousins or see if they want
to work with you.
Sorry I do not have the children of Floyd and Cora. I remember them well.
One of your cousins has a movie from about 1933 until well after the war that
shows your grandmother Nora and many of t he mentioned aunts and uncles.
Trust me - this is not a" dead end " but we have wealth of information

Looking for info on Floyd Thomas Coffee b. 1895, d. 1971 in Pampa, TX, m. Cora Lee Orr in 1921, daughter of George Washington Orr and Mattie Eleanor Evans, b. 1895, d. 1982. Much of the info that I have is related to Miami TX, Ft. Worth TX, and some Globe AZ
Believe his father either C. Coffee or C. C. Coffee, mother's name unknown. May have had siblings by the names of Hattie, Norman, and possibly Bessie, Ada, Lenora. Possible cousins W. C. Coffee or William Cleaveland and Clyde Coffee. Possibly had an Uncle Ollie, Aunt Lillie, Uncle Blacke, Aunt Lizzie.
The majority of my info is from old postcards that he left to me. I am at a dead end. Any help would be appreciated.
This is my dead end! Thanks
