Unfortunately, I cannot find a source for this info, but in my files I have a note that says W.P.M. COFFEE married Sarah C. WELCH 14 Mar 1884 in Lamar Co., TX.
There was a John S. Coffee (b1825) in 1860 Red River Co., with wife Martha, and children Elizabeth, b1845; William, b1851; James, b1854 and Susan, b1858. This John was son of Jessee.
John I. Coffey was in Clarksville township, Red River Co. in 1860 census, p64.
Hope this helps someone!
Jack

Check out Glenn Lee's web site. It has a great deal of info about the Coffee
family. He has done a wonderful job of research and sharing.
http://members.home.net/leeyukon I had the pleasure of meeting him at
the grave marking of Gen. John Coffee in Florence in October. Betty.
Thanks, Betty.

Hoping someone might have some information on a Mary Kathrine Josephine Coffee that married a William Kelley or Kelly in the mid 1800's. I've found some records that state they were married in Red River County Texas but I'm not 100% sure that's them.
William and Mary had several kids, John Milton Kelley, Newt Kelley and perhaps another William. John Milton is my great grandfather, thus making William my gggrandfather and mary my ggggrandmother.
Family stories say that William (if that's his name, our family seems to love to go by middle names ever few generations) migrated from france, to ireland, to the US.

Barbara,
My computer doesn't cooperate when I use the reply key. Otherwise I would've just answered through my email.
If you could send me your email address I could send you all the info I have instead of using up all the space in this box.
At first I wasn't sure about a connection but after thinking about things, there just may be one.
Talk to you soon.
