See my reply to one of your other queries. As I said, How many Nebuzaraden Coffeys can there be? So you and I may have that connection. If you know any of his families names, email me. Thanks.
Hi Mary,
I have a third Great Grandfather William Martin Coffee, born 15 Sept 1762,
at death he was 105 years old. He lived in Kentucky, then moved to Warren
County, IL. His second wife Nancy Phelps was my Great(3rd) Grandmother.
Their daughter Mary Polly Coffee born 6 Sept 1799, died 24 Aug 1881, married
to Henry Meadows. They lived in Warren County, IL. Before IL they lived in
Wayne Co., KY, as did William Martin Coffee. There could be a connection
between your William Martin Coffee.

Hi,
My husband is a direct descendant of Nancy Kinner COFFEE BROWN. The
three children that Daniel had with Manerva CARDWELL were James B. 1829, Nany
B. 27 Dec. 1832 , Mar to Josiah Washington Brown in 1862, Died 18 Dec. 1889,
and Robert B 1833, Mar to Louisa KINCHELO 27 Oct 1853 . (I assume that was in
McMinn County, TN. They were all born in Rockingham Co., N.C. After Manerva
died, he remarried. Herfname was Nancy GIPSON, B. C 1820. They had 4
children:
1. Pleasant B. 1840, Mar to Catherine
2. Matilda B 1841
3. Delilah B 5 Apr 1842, Mar to Terry WAyne BROCK 20 Oct 1866, D 19 Sep 1938
4. Henrietta B 1845.
Then they moved to McMinn County, TN. where they had the following children:
5. Jeremiah B 1847
6. John W. B Aug 1891, Mar to Minerva EVANS 12 Feb 1875
7. Anna B 1853
8. Sarah B. 1854, Mar to Bradford EVANS, D. 1891
9. Isabelle B 19 Sep 1855, Mar to M. F. ARNWINE 12 Oct 1875, D. 20 Dec 1919
10 Martha B 1858
11. Mattie B 11 June 1860, Mar to Steven A. KILE on 13 Nov 1887, D 6 June
1904.
Nancy B 1832 was my husband's 2 gr grandmother
I haven't been able to find Manerva's parents, or proof of Daniel's. There
were two Daniels COFFEE (Coffey's) in the area at the time. One is ours The
other one is the relative of Daniel Boone.
That's all I have. I only do the direct line, then drop it when the name
dies out, which in this case is with Nancy. I also cannot prove who Josiah
Washington BROWN's parents were, although I do know he was born in Knox Co.,
TN, which encompassed a huge area of Tennessee at that time (1800). I am led
to believe Josiah's parents were James and Martha CHAPPELL, but have no solid
proof.
Let me know if you find out anything about Manerva's parents. I'm always
looking for a hole through these brick walls. Thanks for writing. Good

I am a descendant of Robert Coffee, son of Daniel & Manerva, Brother to Nancy Coffee Brown. I appreciate all the information you have contained in your posting. I am really just beginning. I did find in the 1850 census in McMinn county & in the 1860 census in Bradley County, TN, a son named William listed with the family. It appears Robert died between 1850 & 1860. Do you know anything about him? and do you know where Daniel is buried? I would appreciate any further information or pictures you might have. thanks.
