Am looking for any information on the William Coffee living in the Durant
area of Oklahoma then I.T. He was there in 1897 when his son , James
Walter Coffee, was born. William may have been married to a Sivilia or
Silva Catherine Harwell (Howell?) I have no other information on him,
except that his middle name may be Posie Marshall. Thanks.

Hello Earlene,
Sorry that I cannot be of any help to you. My line goes like
this.....My father is Loren Coffey, his father Lawrence Coffey, son of
George Coffee, son of James C. Coffee, son of Horatio Roberts Coffee who
emigrated to Gallitin Co. Illinois (later that part became Saline
County) his father was John Dowden Coffee son of James Coffee son of
John Coffee from Price Georges Co., Maryland. There may very well be
some family connection to the North Carolina Branch but so far no
proof. Good Hunting..........Joyce Coffey Hodder
