Hi All,
I am searching for descendents and information pertaining to the families
of Susan Ann Bailey Rogers who married Peter Harrison Coffee, and her
sister Mary Katherine Rogers who married Christopher Columbus Coffee, both
sons of General John E. Coffee. Both Susan Ann Bailey Rogers & Mary
Katherine Rogers were daughters of James Alford Rogers and Susan Peeples
Ashley.
Any information regarding children in these family lines will be
appreciated.
Jane
In keeping with the spirit of this list, I prefer to sip coffee from fresh
ground Peruvian beans while I ponder what became of Fannie Coffee born sometime
in the 1880's, dau of MCB Coffee and Anthelia Mozella Dever. Fannie married Jim
Hoosier and was living in Coweta, OK in 1938. her siblings were Ida Mae mar
Robert Lee Steelman, Percy, Thomas and Will. Anyone know this family

I think you need to check your subscription again. Rootsweb (the server
- check the address) is a Genealogy based website. As far as I am concerned,
you are welcome to stay, I faithfully have a cup of coffee by my side as I
research the COFFEE and other families.... :) Have a great, safe holiday

This is really odd, I thought I subscribed to a genealogy list for the
Coffee family...so are any of you coffee drinkers descendants of Capt Joshua
Coffee?

Would someone else please post to the list and explain that this is the
list for the discussion of coffee...as in hot beverage made from ground
coffee beans, and not for the discussion of genealogy. There is someone
on the list who insists this is a genealogy list.
Thanks and have a good Labor Day weekend all.
Dan
People are always blaming their circumstances for what they are. I don't
believe in circumstances. The people who get on in this world are the
people who get up and look for the circumstances they want, and, if they
can't find them, make them.
- George Bernard Shaw, "Mrs. Warren's Profession," 1893
Why are genealogy questions being posted to a listserv about coffee?
Dan
People are always blaming their circumstances for what they are. I don't
believe in circumstances. The people who get on in this world are the
people who get up and look for the circumstances they want, and, if they
can't find them, make them.

Hello,
I am at the end of my rope here. I am trying to find information on my
Grandmothers family. I have part of them THE MARSHES.But,I cannot seem to
find the MCGILLVRAYS.My great Grandmother ARDELLA MARSH MCGILLVRAY died in
Opp in 1906 ,I would like to try and find out where she is buried. Also,my
Great Grandfather DANIEL MCGILLVRAY did in December of 1913 in Opp.Can anyone
tell me what cemeteries I might look for to find him?
I hired a genealogist and he took my money and I got taken. Please be careful
who you hire.It can cost you a lot of money for a real bad let down.
Anyway,I was wondering if anyone knew of the MCGILLVRAY family there in
Opp.When my Great Grandfather died my Grandmother married GEORGE WALLACE
ALLMAN.He listed himself as a farmer in Opp or Babbie where they were married
in 1914 .That was 5 months after her father died. She was 18 her name was
ALICE MCGILLVRAY and he was 40 the same age as her Father.
Her other siblings went to live with the MArshes. They were Mattie ,Arrie
Belle,And I.D MCGILLVRAY.
Please,I am willing to compensate for your trouble.Any help would be
appreciated.I now live in Minnesota. So,I really need a little help.
Best Regards,
Patty
