Mr. Coe,
Thank you for the info on Harmon and Esther Coe. Unfotunately I haven't been able to go any further with it. In 2004 you replied to a query of mine on the Coe's of Baytown, is Harmon related to any of them? Also that you were having trouble locating an Esther Bernice, is she by chance the same one? I can't find a middle name on anything. The name Esther Bernice Coe is the only solid information I have on my birth family. Anything you know will probably more than I do.
Thanks for the help.
Cynthia

Dear Shawnee
I have just seen your message about a photo of Mrs Rose Coe. My great great grandmother was Rose Bernstein, wife of William Coe. She was born in Aldgate, London in 1836 and died in 1910. They had several children - I know some went to Australia and I think at least one went to the USA. Does any of this tie in with your Rose Coe? Please let me know either way.
Barbara

- Elijah "Lige" Coe, b. Feb. 1, 1815, Loudoun County, VA.
- William Coe, b. May 22, 1817, Loudoun County, VA.
- Esther Ann Coe, March 1, 1820, Loudoun County, VA.
- John Curtis Coe, b. Jan. 5, 1825, Loudoun County, VA.
- Samuel Jacob Coe, b. Sept. 14, 1827, Loudoun County, VA.
- James Monroe Coe, b. March 14, 1830, Loudoun County, VA.

I recently bought an old photo at an antique store in Illinois. The photo is of seven older members of the Coe family. The photo is labelled "Brothers & sister, Coe family - James, Sam, John, Esther, William, Lige and Ebbie Coe". If these are some of your ancestors, please contact me. I "saved" the photo, hoping to find a Coe family member that would treasure it.
