Dear Geri,
I am looking for a Ruth Coe who was reported (not validated yet) to have
married John Carpenter in Long Island in 1735 and to have moved to Orange Co.
Their reported son was living in Warwick in 1790 and from there moved to
Onondaga co.
Would you be so kind as to tell me the dates of your Mary Matilda or the
parents if you know, in the event that she might be connected to my Ruth.
Thank you, Phoebe
PS Also Coes may have married Gales, methinks.

brick wall for years never been able to find sibling parents information.
This could be that needle in hay stack.
First info I have:

>>I. Vassar, Tuscola, MI - Old Tuscola Cemetery
>>M. George William Austin (1-16-1815 - 10-24-1882) abt 1836 { Note: first
born in 3-19-1837}
>>> Its Noted they met on boat Coming to US from England but their is 12 yrs
dif in ages. So if she was coming to US as a Mrs ?? Coe and with child,
George could be 2nd Husband. soom logic, yea.

Another NY site that has Coe's is the Oswego County GenWeb site. If you
have relations on that site let me know as I have some too!
URL: http://www.rootsweb.com/~nyoswego/
Coe's were located in the town of Scriba in 1800's and Oswego later part
of 1800's and the 1900's.

PHOEBE: i don't think hannah was the daughter of mathew. john was the son
of your mathew and he is the one that m. sarah pabodie. john and sarah had 9
children and the seventh one was hannah b. 29 dec. 1696. according to the
coe book, henry f. coe [b. 1835, d. 1906] of boston, mass. compiled and
published in 1894 a small 47 page genealogy of this family entitled "desc. of
matthew coe". this henry was 7th gen. from matthew.

Dear Coe Folks,
I would appreciate information on the descendants of this Mathew Coe.
At his time I am particularly interested in his Daughter: Hannah b. 29 Dec
1696 who reportedly married her "cousin" Coe, who was lost at sea, and had a
daughter, Ruth.
Any information would be greatly appreciated.
