Roberson b. 1865

Ida L b. abt 1874
Thomas W. b abt 1877
Samuel b. abt 1879
I am sorry I dont know have the answers to your questions, I am stuck in 1865
still with Robert P. Coe born 3-18-1865 in Kentucky. Good Luck in your
search..
I am possibly related to Samuel and Louisa, but I have not confirmed that I
am currently waiting for marriage rec of my Robert Coe and Tina Michaels. I
had looked in the census, and found Samuel and Louisa in the 1880's census.
it lists there age, from there you can estimate. They had a Roberson, who
would have been the same age as my Robert , and that is the only match I had
found in Kentucky census, This is alot of assumption. This line has been
extremely difficult, due to lack of information from my family. I have a
photo album that my grandmother had left, of old pictures with no names
except for one, which had a two men in overalls, on back of picture it says
John Coe, Russell Springs, Kentucky. On the census this family was from
Russell County. On Robert's Death Cert, his parents where unknown.
if you want me to email you with the information from census let me know,
I dont have my book with me right now, otherwise I would have included it.
it also shows there children.
Thank you for you reply
Pam
Hello Geraldine,
I am responding to your message which was posted to the Coe List. My
husband's ancestors include two Samuels. I do not recognize the name
Matilda, Louisa or Theodore Ryerson, but then I have only recently acquired
the information about these Samuels. One was a son of Elder Silas Coe and
Martha (Walters?); while I have no birthdate for this Samuel, two of his
brothers were born between 1790 and 1800 in New Jersey. The second Samuel
was Samuel Ulysses: he was the son of David Vance Coe, born March 5, 1866
and died 19?? in Nemo South Dakota. I have strong reason to believe the
latter Samuel is not your Samuel as my in-laws know quite a bit about this
Samuel U. Coe.
Hope this helps. Even if the first Samuel does not fit, feel free to write
back with the lineage of your Samuel as I will be receiving a book in about
two months titled "Robert Coe, Puritan". This book is about a Robert Coe
who lived shortly after (I think) the Mayflower arrived in the United States
and discusses his descendants at length--my husband descended form this
Robert Coe. If I am able to understand the book I may be able to do a
lookup for you.
Linda
