Its interesting my Grandmother who was in here 90's said on her death bed that she was the illegitimate daughter of Bill Cody. She was born in Boston USA. The story goes that her mother was the daughter of a mill owner when the Wild West Circus came to town at the turn of the century and she ran off with the circus. We have never been able to substantiate the story but she was quite clear on the story. I suspect her mother had eloped with someone from the Circus she always reminded me of a native American Indian when I was growing up, and had a real spiritual side to her

Sorry. Only one Dalton appears in the Cody Family Association book and that was Gerald Dalton who married into a branch of the family in the 1960s.

My father believes that his grandmother Teresa May Dalton McGuinness (1877-1963) was some sort of cousin to William "B.B." Cody and that he always came to visit her while the WWS was in New York City. I can't find any connection. Anybody have a Dalton or a connection to New York City on their Cody tree?

I have come across some new information that may or may not be a match to Buffalo Bill, but I just want to make sure. My great grandmother, Jennie Cody also went by Genevive, her father was Leo Cody and mother was Rose Pleau. She was born in 1905. Leo's father was Thomas F. Cody. Then, I came across relatives from Ireland, Sylvester Coady who was Thomas's father. Any of those names ring a bell with anyone, please let me know. I can be reached by email as well...
