Beginning March 2nd, 2020 the Mailing Lists functionality on RootsWeb will be discontinued. Users will no longer be able to send outgoing emails or accept incoming emails. Additionally, administration tools will no longer be available to list administrators and mailing lists will be put into an archival state.
Administrators may save the emails in their list prior to March 2nd. After that, mailing list archives will remain available and searchable on RootsWeb

I don't have your book (sorry), but maybe you can help me. My father's best friend Adolf or Rudolf (not sure of the spelling) was a nephew of Buffalo Bill and received checks from the Cody estate. The only info I have is from my memory of family stories. Adolf/Rudolf was my godfather, but I never knew him well. I'm trying to find Adolf/Rudolf's last name. My dad (Donald Martin Billie, Sr.) was born in 1910, so Adolf/Rudolf would have been around that age, too. My dad was a merchant marine, and they might have met in Mobile, Alabama, where my dad was born and lived till around 1945.
