Beginning March 2nd, 2020 the Mailing Lists functionality on RootsWeb will be discontinued. Users will no longer be able to send outgoing emails or accept incoming emails. Additionally, administration tools will no longer be available to list administrators and mailing lists will be put into an archival state.
Administrators may save the emails in their list prior to March 2nd. After that, mailing list archives will remain available and searchable on RootsWeb

I'm reading a book titled "Mr. New Orleans" by Frenchy Brouillette and Matthew Randazzo and there is a chapter in the book about Farish "Tex" Cody. Very interesting book.

My Great Grandmother was Wreatha Henrietta Byers (1894 to 1971)nand I always heard that Buffalo Bill was a cousin of hers somehow. He gave her an inheritance from stocks or interest in the Empire State Bldg. I would like to know how they were related. She was married to Claude Allgood and was not able to visit him when he was dying.
