This was my grandfather. I'm trying to find his father to start my search. My great grandmother divorced him, so I have no idea what happened to him. Any help would be appreciated.

I have been going over an old document from a tour of Friendship cemetery in Marion (or Lamar) County, Alabama, dated August 13, 1994.
This document shows Dr. J. H. Wright, son of Dr. James Wright, husband of Elizabeth (Beth) Cody, Son-in-law of Jacob Cody and Elizabeth Gilliland.
This is confusing because I show Elizabeth Cody married to Dr. James Henry Wright (son of Robert Wright) at Bolivar, Hardeman County, Tennessee (From Early Tennesse Marriages by Sistler). I show them having a son, James Henry Wright, Jr. in 1843. He also became a doctor and went to Texas.
To add to my confusion I also find this from the same tour of the cemetery:
James Henry Wright (Henry), son of Robert R. Wright and Nancy (Cody) Wright, grandson of Jacob Cody and Elizabeth Gilliland, husband of Mary Ellen Wilkerson.
Are these citations right or wrong? Please help me clear up this confusion.
