Wish I could help.
The only Cody family info I have involves the north east, midwest, and Canada.
Good luck to you.

My Cody/Codey family thread begins with Jacob Iscar Codey b NC about 1830 married to Eliza (Gann?). Their daughter Margaret Jane Codey (b 1846 in Jefferson Co Tn) is my ggrandma and her daughter, Nora A Cody b Jefferson Co Tn 1885, my grandmother). I believe Jacob's mother may have been Nancy Codey b NC living near Jacob in 1850 in Tn. Can you help trace back to Pierce and Godfrey Cody family through NC to VA? Any information would be appreciated. I don't, by the way, believe that our Cody family traces back to BB Cody, at least in any very direct way.
