I'm searching for my great grandfather. No one knows what had happened to him. His name is Richard Cody. He was married to Marie Carbaneau who went by the name of Minnie. He lived in Springfield, Mass. Two children, a son Walter and a daughter Beatrice. The only information I really have is about greatgrandma Minnie. She worked for a banker by the name of Proudy. She also had cousins living in the area by the name LaVigne. My dad tells me that whenever he would ask about his grandfather all conversations stopped and the subject was changed. Any one who can give me something to go on would be greatly appreciated.
